Re: HiFiMan RE-400

Any idea when these come in again?

I've been waiting for my warranty to be replaced. I was ok to wait two weeks but it's been a month and still nothing... :crybaby:

Re: HiFiMan RE-400

I must say, these are pretty damn good headphones. For $99, the sound is immense...it really kicks butt over my Shure 215s. I've run quite a few albums through them from the new Daft Punk album, Tool and some Pink Floyd, and they sound beautiful. Very sweet sound...I don't think anyone could find th...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Yeah. Tried everything. Definitely getting a good fit as well...these are the bassiest headphones I own now. It's not that the Shures are bad. Just a cheaper sound I guess. By muffled I mean they aren't in the ballpark of 'clear' and 'sweet' as my beloved DT250 for example. But that's obviously to b...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Hmmmm, I can see what you were saying about the sound...oh well live and learn. Slightly muffled sounding. Reeeeeally shoud've spent more and got B2. :o On the plus side, I love the feel of the build quality of these things. They will serve their purpose at the gym... The other positive was the prom...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Hi Marcus and Felix. I actually decided to save a few bucks and go for the Shure's with the good build quality rep, isolation and the detachable cables. Sound quality came in last place for this one...in the end, I thought I'd save up for your high-end recommendations for future purchase and use the...

Re: Hey, we have a portable bluetooth speaker thingy!

Happy customer. I've been using it in hotel rooms and at work when I don't want to be immersed in music. The surprise was the fact it was smaller than I expected. I knew it was meant to be small and I knew what the measurements were...but when I saw it in the flesh it looked tiny. It is literally sm...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Okay. After some research, I'm tossing up between the B2 and the GR07. From what I've read, the GR07 seems like the high end sound I'm looking for. The only thing I'm trying to reconcile is the pricing on the B2 looks much better here (the GR07 seems like a comparable price in other parts of the wor...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Ahh, I've decided that it might be worth stretching to the B2s. Hate compromising.

Are the B2s as 'analytical' as some folks at the other site are suggesting? I don't have to spend as much as a se535 to get the smooth higher end sound?

Re: Spotify available in Aus

I am a pretty happy customer. I'd previously been using iTunes match to stream my library, but after using Spotify, I haven't used iTunes match at all. SQ can be variable, but in most cases, I've had decent sound from my iPhone. One thing I'd like to see on the iPhone are the apps that are available...

Re: Shure SE215 a decent option?

Thanks Felix.

Would they be superior to my old HF2?

I also had a listen to my PK2 the other day and wasn't impressed (been living mainly on DT250 and HF2) so I need my new purchase to be a lot better than PK2.

Audiofly appeal at the moment due to being a headset

Yeah, long time. Enjoying you're MS-pros still? That's a sale I regret! Although the k701 is still good for me

Shure SE215 a decent option?

My trusty Ety HF2 died today. They served me nicely the last couple of years. I was eyeing the SE215 as a possible replacement and noted no recommended sticker...and from past experience the badge is more right than wrong! I'm not looking to spend too much, but was looking for something with good bu...
