Alternatiive to wireless Beats

My girlfriend is looking at getting some wireless Beats, I'm trying to convince her out of it, but can't give her any alternative options. She wants to use it for running, so I'm thinking nothing too bulky, probably 'on-ear' style. She probably wants something that looks stylish as well. Any suggest...

Re: Replacement for Atrio M5

The Atrio M5 were my favourite canals I've used, shame they aren't available anymore.

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

I can fix your problem, get some beyerdynamic pleather pads from marcus. Just ask for pads model EDT 770 S. I did this to my DT770's and they become totally better, at least to me, the treble was toned down a notch and mids even become less recessed. Bass does increase, but I prefer the texture of ...

Re: Fidue A31s

Already lost mine but not worried because they are so cheap hahah

Still considering going back to the RE-400 though because they fit my ears better. I actually prefer the sound of the A31.

Re: Beyerdynamic Pads

Thanks Marcus, I might take the pads off my T90 and test them out first. I am scared to touch the T90s because the damn things are so expensive hahah

Re: Beyerdynamic Pads

Hi bleeding You want Beyer' pads to put on a different pair of 'phones.. ..like there is something wrong with the ones you have? The ones on my Custom One Pros have become kind of squished down over time, I really like the pads on the T90 so was thinking of putting those or something similar on the...

Beyerdynamic Pads

I really like the pads on the T90, I would like to have something similar on my COPs. T90 spare pads aren't sold by Headphonic (these look like they would fit COP), just wondering how similar the DT990 pads you sell are to the T90 pads.

Also, are the pads on the T70 similar to the T90 pads?

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

Before you get rid of them, try equalizing them....the highs and sibliance annoy me too, but giving a a slight dip at 7khz, 10khz and 14khz.......makes that disappear (for the T90s) I've tried adjusting it but can't get rid of the sibilance without drastically changing the sound (and it doesn't sou...

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

I'm still deciding whether to get rid of my T90s (just because of the sibilance), might give the HE500 a listen when I get the chance. One thing the T90 has going for them is the comfort, I hear Hifiman headphones don't do well in this area.

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

I've had sibilance issues on the T90 with some music, but it's usually the headphones revealing something in the production. Yeah I definitely think it's to do with the sound production, I have 320kbps files that sound fine except for the sibilance, I'm sure it's just the production itself, but I d...

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

I don't get the same sibilance issues with the T90 that I've had with the 770 (and even 880) but most headphones with detailed treble can be a little unforgiving on source material and sources with brighter treble. I've only had the issue with T90 and Audiofly canals (I don't think you had the prob...

Re: DT 770 Sibilance - Will it improve?

I feel the same about the T90, it's only particular recordings though (I run with a Matrix M-Stage DAC and AMP). Thinking of selling them on e-bay and getting something else.

Re: Replacement for Hifiman RE-400

Theyr'e easily as comfy as the RE400, sound quality is different - people who like a bit more bass might prefer the A31s but people who prefer a more balanced/detailed sound will probably prefer the RE400. I agree with this, I actually prefer the A31 sound because of the extra bass, I like to have ...

Re: Fidue A31s

The longer I have mine the happier I am with them. For $40 they're a steal. Agreed, my only problem is they don't always fit (especially my right ear, must be a funny shape), sometimes they stay in for an hour sometimes they keep popping out. The best fitting canals I have had are the Hifiman RE-40...
