Just doing some more reading around before making a decision - would the Beyer DT250's be worth the extra $$$$, considering they will be unamped and used primarily from an iPhone? Or would I be doing them a disservice/spending more money then required considering the source device? Not really keen on fiddling around with amps etc, now or in the future (although never say never)

They will run off PMPs, but I think amping does them more justice, they fill out and liven up more.da_ilks wrote:Any other impressions/advice re: DT250's from an iPhone? Saw some conflicting older posts when going through a big search - some saying portable device wouldn't do them justice, others saying the 80ohm version sounds fine from a portable.
