Seriously, there is no way they will fit. The hole in the ER6i is about 4x smaller than the end of the R02-Pro's. How did you get them on ?? :(

you were right when you said this, THERE IS NO F&*@#@ WAY THESE ARE COMPATIBLE The hole is twice the size and is NOT flexible. I have several times almost broken the headphone trying to cram these in. I even cut the inner tube a little to try help it on but because its a tougher material it doesn't help at all. Seriously, I have less trouble fitting condoms on ffs.

Getting annoyed here.

huh, I tried them again and got them on.
I mean it is a tight fit and there is a trick to doing it, but it works.

I'd use the Shure foam tips if in doubt.

Hi Snufkin,

Is there a wax filter for the R02-Pro? If there is what is the replacement, if not how do you clean the earphone in the event wax get on the metal mesh??

Cheers

The metal mesh is the filter I believe. You can clean it with a dry brush.

ooh and also. how long do they normally last? I used my normal rubber ones that came with my cx300s for the life i had it, do people normally replace those rubber ones much?

The Vsonics sound great but i dont think im getting the best sound out of them cause none of the tips seem to completely fit =[ .
i guess i just wana justify a 20% of the cost price purchase :P .

Foam tips last anywhere from a week to a month depending on how often you use them, how much wax/sweat you produce, whether you clean them etc.
Rubber/silicone tips generally last a few months.

Hey, what would be the best way to preserve/clean grubby R02pro2 original tips? I love the bi-flanges, and would be super keen to extend their use - is there any way I can get them good/better again?

Also, if I were to replace them with other tips, what method is best for cleaning the er... under the tip. bit...?

thanks guys!
