Listening to the Pro's as we speak :D

I was a bit of a doofus. I had them on, they were a bit uncomfortable on my ears and they sounded good, but not amazing. It al felt slightly to the right of centre, and touch dull.

Moved them back, obviously lining the driver up with my ear more, comfort is better, and the sound just came alive ahah.

Fuck oath.

a tip from Marcus.....
If you bought them take the pads off and roll them to soften them, and adjust the headband a little.

if you are borrowing them just leave them lol.

Bought them.

Roll the pads?

Pretty sure the driver is resting on my ear too. I have small ears so they *almost* sit inside these things anyway. Slightly bigger pads and they'd be circumaural.

If it wasn't for glasses, these would be comfortable. Its only the top of the pad pushing the top of my ear against my glasses that is sore. Rest is fine.

Oh congrats man, yeh the pads are pretty hard, so if you take them off and roll/mush them in your hands then put them back on that helps soften them and make them more comfy.....just don't tear them. you can adjust the headband to reduce the pressure on you ear, they where pretty tight on my head too.

Mm. The softness seems fine, but i'll try it.

Might grab some G Cushions and see how I like them. Ultimately I need the pad to sit around the ear, its fine to push the glasses into your head, but not your ear into the glasses. One way hurts one doesn't haha.

These are freakin good though. Hearing so many bass licks I never did.

Definately a new league of headphone...lovin' it. Fuck my ears, they'll grow back. Pain means its good.

I'm going to try my hand at the 414 pads, the G-Cush, and maybe the TTVJ flats. Headphone able to get the G-Cush in?

I hoenstly think the G-Cush will be fine, Head-Fi'ers complain of the drastic sound changes but I'm sure my ears aren't as fine tuned as theres...plus i might just squish them a bit and bring the driver closer to the ear.

I think the bowl pads (once softened) suit the MSPro best :)
Just take the pads off and mash/roll them about in your hands for a minute or so, makes a huge difference. Also, remember the headband is metal so you can flex it out pretty safely (although over flexing will make them too loose).

Clamp force seems ok, and the headband hasn't hurt my head yet. Anything that presses my ears against my glasses frame is going to hurt, no avoiding that. I can either try the G-Cush and go the circumaural option, or soften as much as possible and reduce the clamp and hope.

Headphonic able to get teh G-Cush pads in?

Most likely not, unless Alessandro is able to source them. I doubt it if we can only get them through Grado

Thats cool, ill grab a pair from overseas somewhere. I figure if I got the G's and soften them/squish them I don't think sound will be altered too much.

Best thing to do would be change as soon as possible, before I get used to the sound too much haha.

Don't mess with perfectly good headphones!
Bin your glasses and gouge out your eyes, and enjoy the MSpro goodness as intended.

They do sound amazing as is.

I've read you can wash the pads in warm water and let air dry to soften them up too.

OH I DON'T KNOW.

Doing what I suggested takes less time and has no disadvantages/pitfalls ;)
