Don't forget the TBSE1! Little more oomph to them for games over the SRH840

Hi, new here and im in perth. Today i went to yr local shop but you guys closed on public holiday! :(
However im looking for a good one which is suitable for my SONY X1051, a lot of people suggest go with IE7 but apparently its out of stocks in a market wide... sooo, i searched a lot and some one picked SONY EX1000... if i am getting EX1000, it has to be bought online which means i must wait for awhile from shipping overseas, so i really want to know if i can get a good and suitable one from yr shop??? I dont have a prce range, just need a ideal one for my XK~~~ plzz???

The ie7 has been discontinued, it was never a really great iem IMO ;)

Maybe consider something like the Atrio M5?

We are open today, just not Sundays or public holidays ;)

Hi

I just did some testing of different tips with the SM2 and I found that they sound much better with the stock bi-flanges or foam tips than with the Shure tri-flanges which I've been using.
But, I need the isolation of the tri-flanges and, also, the other tips are a little too big for me.

The Shure tips just make them sound very dark and dull compared with the two stock types and I had to use the EQ to get a bit of balance out of them. But the Shures are more comfortable and isolate more.

So, is there any tip that won't reduce their sound quality and also isolate roughly as much as the Shures? Maybe the Ety tri-flanges?

I realize that I've been asking a lot of stuff lately, and I'm sorry for taking your time. ;)

Thanks

Cut the top off the Shure tips. I find that any foam tip (they are foam no?) has too much foam 'hanging' over the little internal sleeve. I cut mine back and find its clearer and less muffled...

Im using Comply tips though.

Yeah, thanks for the 'tip'! ;)
They're actually tri-flanges and I've already cut them down - because they don't even fit in my ear otherwise - but I've been using the longest one that I have (I cut each pair to a different length). The longest one seems to isolate the most, but I'll try the shorter ones to see if the sound improves.

Okay, tried the smaller ones. A slight improvement, but still quite dark.
Oh well, they sound good enough. :)

Anyone heard the Audio-technica ATH-CK90PRO IEM's?

No real reviews out, the few words I've seen say they're pretty impressive, but really not much info on them.
