No need to get the T70p, the T70 are crazy efficient and the RoCoo P is pretty powerful :)

Thanks, I'm thinking of getting these as a closed headphone to acompany the MS Pros :)

I'd be interested in your impressions if you do end up with that pair, as it was something I was tossing up in the air.

Didn't Felix say they're similar, pretty awesome but he'd jump up to the ms pros which are awesomer or something along those lines ?

That's essentially what I said iirc! They're a fantastic sounding, easy to drive, CLOSED headphone. For all those criteria they're the best under the W1000x

Are the W1000x better than the T70s?

They are an option as well.

Thoughts on them? Laid back, or quite nuetral with some good deep low end?

I like the AD900 and so far the DT250 for reference.

I imagine only Felix and Marcus can really comment on the W1000x?

Wondering if anyone else has done some DT250 vs T70 comparisons lately?

Still wouldn't mind upgrading possibly and the T70 sounds like it may be slightly more captivating, better separation and detail.

Then again the MS-Pro and DT250 would be a nice pair offering totally different sound, just not sure the MS-Pro would be any good for gaming.

Yeah I can't imagine the Pros' being especially good gaming phones. I have the Pros and DT250 at the moment too dude! Hopefully new earpads help with comfort, otherwise im tempted with the T70 as a single solution.

would not use the ms-pro's for gaming, I always use the dt-250's for games.....any more than ad900/dt250 for games is major overkill imo.

I've gamed with the MSpro before they're decent imo. Probably better than any headphone ever marketed for gaming.

Definately would be. Just not as good as something like the DT250 probably.

I don't have the pros, but still not sure if I'd get them (tad expensive). I kind of like the idea of a single solution instead of getting multiple pairs for the sake of it, and would usually only listen to one pair at home. The Pros would be a fantastic musical solution just wasn't sure about games (also good to have a closed/semi closed pair for that purpose).

Well you want that rumble in games to be truley immersed. Pro's won't give you that rumble, they drop off at about 100hz it seems. Musically though, they are a good can.

Gaming and music on the MSPro was fine for me, never had any bass rolloff issues either.
Are there better 'phones for gaming? Well yeah, but that doesn't make the MSPro bad at gaming by any stretch of the imagination.

W1000x vs T70 is a compo I'll have to get back to you on - I'm still bouncing the HE400 and 500 around.
