over my M50, still love Tracks - whats next?

Postby sbm888 » Thu Jun 28, 2012 6:50 am

Ok, i have had the ES7, currently using M50s and Tracks. I still love my Tracks and use them for home/gaming/music.

I love the sound of them, but i need a new set for transport on the bus. The m50 is just a bit 'bland' compared to the fun sounding Tracks.

is there a closed (no leakage) sounding set of cans that sound like AiAiAi Tracks? and have a portable look/feel?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe check out the Aiaiai TMA-1 or Audio Technica ESW9. Both are definitely more fun sounding than the M50, particularly because they have more dynamic tones for the mid-range and treble

Do you have a price range in mind?

Koss TBSE1 or Shure SRH840 if you can spare the size perhaps

ok - regardless of price, then would the TMA-1's suit my requirements? (just need to persuade the wife!)

so difficult without a dedicated headphone store in Adelaide....

Yep certainly. To give you an idea of size the earpads are a similar width to the ES7. They're bigger, but not big, and pretty decent sound isolation to boot (definitely enough for transport)
