PSB M4U 2's

Postby Krackar » Sat Jun 30, 2012 7:12 pm

Hey there,

I'm new to the forum and just getting into headphones. I've had a couple of noise canceling headphones over the years but just bought my first pair of decent headphones, PSB's M4U 2's.

Anyone else on here have them? What are others opinions of them? I've done a few searches but haven't found anything.

Cheers, Krackar

Never heard of em. Searches probably show nothing because few others have either.

Just looked at their website.

They seem to be channeling the spirit of the Monster Beats Studio but look a lot better and are a bit cheaper.

How do they sound?

I really like them. I've only owned some JVC noise cancelling headphones, some Phillips and listened to the Bose QC15's. And the PSB's sound is in another league compared to the others.

I like that they have 3 modes, passive, amped or amped with ANC. They sound great passive, and even better from an iPhone with the inbuilt amp switched on. I do alot of flying and the ANC works really well. I don't use it any other time though.

I've had an issue with the headband cracking and apparently it's happened to a few others. Mine are being replaced. I've heard that its being looked into and maybe a new headband is on its way. Other than that they are great.
