Adidas Shell Toes

Postby dc » Fri Dec 19, 2008 8:18 pm

I dunno if anyone else here's into sneakers... Superstars, Air Force 1s etc...

But I just thought I might share this nifty site with y'all: http://www.miadidas.com/US/Main.action

Here's mine: http://www.miadidas.com/CustomizeShoe.a ... Id=1026180

mi adidas is pretty sweet, but the AU version leaves much to be desired. My brother recently moved to NYC so I might get him to grab these for me :p

Unfortunately I didn't give him enough notice (as he's coming on Sunday!) but he's going to grab me a pair of these bad boys:

Mmm, white-on-white, kind of like potato-flavoured potato chips, or water-flavoured icy poles, or milk-flavoured ice cream…

(Kind of a One Star person meself.)

More than ten years old, and still going. A glorious product of the mid to late 90's.

Edit: picture link updated.

Chucks (Chuck Taylor All Stars) are still popular though:

Those Merrells are not hiking shoes, unless you're hiking from your Disco 3 to the illy for a skinny cap.

Not AF-1s but pretty cool. Bought these a couple of years ago from the Nike Factory outlet, still going strong.

That is a weird model name – Nike Pansies. I guess it would appeal to some people, though.

From top left to bottom right: Converse One Star suede mid/late 90's; uncommon Converse All Star Ox (I think) late 90's; uncommon Sandshooz Australia (SSA) late 90's; Etnies early 2000's; Converse One Star Premiere suede late 2000's; Converse All Star Premiere Ox low-top late 2000's; Converse One Star Premiere suede late 2000's (yet to be worn). Not that I have a problem or anything, I can stop any time I want.
