another infringement issued by mrsfudge - forum police!!1!

ha ha, you're not afraid to lay down the law anyway
i think we all need to watch what we write these days

i always find these computer player/interface/software threads so boring - but i guess they are rather necessary due to the fact it can make such a big difference to the end result

hey mrsfudge...i haven't really fiddled with the interface myself because i like the simple default layout, but good luck.

one thing though, make sure that you use guides that use the latest version...I think there was an interface change in the more recent versions. Someone else on these forums may be an expert on the visual stuff...I'm only interested in audio.

the media library is almost a one click setup, and it's slick and fast (unlike PC itunes) but I'm at work so i can't tell you which buttons to click

anyway, woohoo, you have slightly better sound than before

Sorry if this is a bit off topic,

Should I be creating CUE files when ripping CDs to flac (using EAC)? I'm ripping the album into individual songs in flac. From my understanding the CUE file is there if you want to burn a cd from those flac files right? Thanks!

Quick foobar question: is there a way to generate a list (text file or otherwise) of you entire library? I remember it was quite easy in Winamp.

Thanks,

I've got no idea what you mean. Have you got a picture of <program x> doing it?
Would it be so hard to navigate to your library and right click -> view -> list?
Alternatively, try file -> library -> album list
Or the whole library subheading
stuff (rarely) -> my head (sometimes) -> music (always)

Sounds promising, although not running the standard foobar and dont have a 'file' menu.. :paranoid:

Just right click on your "library" playlist and save as...m3u or m3u8

File menu is alway there. Might be "menu" or "M". File is the first subheading of the menu button
