Ah, yes, but the improved silver content in that new plate has definitely imbued the treble with an effervescence that just wont be there in blobby's version. You could even say that its the brown chocolate version of the Symphony.

Well, not quite. Here's the response I got from Jan Meier about it:

The original SYMPHONY amplifier was a little bit sensitive to pollution of the power-lines and, through the coaxial digital input, sometimes showed some small interruptions of the audio signal.

This has been solved by adding a small additional PCB to the amp. This is the version .2.

Sonically there are no real differences.

If anyone has the older version and has an issue with this, I'd recommend talking to Jan as apparently it is rectifiable.

Sounds like "we don't really have any updates so let's just spew some mumbo jumbo" to me.
stuff (rarely) -> my head (sometimes) -> music (always)

Yeah, we only stock the latest revisions, but do keep in mind it is a "0.2" revision rather than "2.0" revision, ie: very minor, so if you have the "old" version there is really no point upgrading, Jan just likes to be a perfectionist about little things ;)
