Indeed. I sit in my cone of silence listening to my neutral source feeding neutral music into my neutral amp, powering my neutral headphones, drinking ice-water.

So should you.

Anything else interferes with the purity of the music listening experience.

Not sure about that, a friend of mine got really wasted one time without drinking a drop... Yes, I know. It's a mystery.

When you said Dorothy, I thought of Dorothy the Dinosaur... from The Wiggles :|

So, I dunno, maybe you meant Dorothy as in her or something

I'm so old I cant even remember WHEN people starting using the 'Friend of Dorothy' euphemism, but I think it refers to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Given that gay men seem to enjoy almost any musical theatre, it may be a very old reference indeed. Hmm, Family Guy/American Dad/Simpsons all feature extensive musical theatre ripoffs ....

I am utterly grateful for being not as old as you, grandpa.

But I will order the O2 soon, spent quite a bit on speakers lately...

I assumed it was a transitive Liza Minnelli thing? Judy Garland (Dorothy in Wizard of Oz) is her mother.

I think it is customary to buy speakers in pairs...

If you refer to the rest of his equipment, ah well, I do seem to see double sometimes when he is concerned so maybe that explains it.
