No problem - my only concern is freight because the One comes in such a big box, freight to NZ would cost us about $80.

My DM+/Essence One testing will initially be source testing rather than headphone testing, as in I'll start by comparing DACs from a single headphone (or a couple of my regular favourite/home collection models like the DT531) then work on to how they match up with other headphones. To start with I'm much more interested in how they perform as a SOURCE than how they perform as an amp.

Sounds good to me! I'd like to know how they compare as sources as its not only T70 I'll be using with them.

But would be nice to know how they pair too :) I'm thinknig the t70 need a source with detailed bass reproduction.. They have good quality deep bass but I'm finding with my current soundcard I have to turn things up a bit to hear enough and then the treble can be a bit much for my ears to take.
I wasn't expecting 'bassy' headphones with the T70, but I can't help but think my Edirol soundcard (and/or the crappy HP amp build into it) isn't up to scratch for getting the most out of them.
Dubstep and some other electronic stuff just gets a tad muddy in the super low sub-bass end. Anyway, back to the T70 thread for that...
