M-Stage has never come with a USB. It's an amp, not a DAC/amp combo.

He released a new M-Stage with a simple USB DAC and I don't think he's going to revert back to the non-USB DAC version.
Nobody noticed because there was barely any change in price

Can't find any M-Stage with a DAC on the Matrix site. The iMini and Cube have DACs though.

We have M-Stages with DAC in stock now :)
Price is $50 more than the standard version.
Quick testing of the USB stage = sounds ok.

I assume DAC would cost more. But seems like it is listed as less than standard version?

DAC version has only been up a day. I paid 279 for mine 7-8 months ago.

I remember the DAC version being $250 too a few days ago. Must have been a mistake.

How does the M-Stage compare to a Corda Move for driving something like DT-250s via USB?

Would this be better than an Audioengine D1? It seems like the M-stage would be a beefier amp, but the DAC appears to be just "thrown in" at $50...
The Audioengine may be the better Dac...they're like opposites of eachother.

I'm just wondering which would be better for driving a pair of T70s on its own...

Would the Matrix Cube be any better than the Mstage as a combo device?

Amp: Matrix M-Stage
