Oppo HA-2

Have you tried out the Oppo HA-2 portable DAC Amp?
Looks good especially with the new iPhones not having a headphone jack.

I only had a brief try - it sounded pretty much like every other portable amp/DAC at that pricepoint ;)

I expect a whole slew of new products to be launched to address the removal of the headphone jack, but I'd prefer USB C myself.

Do you think I would be better off saving and getting the Mojo and use it for home and portable?

That depends :)
For home use the O2ODAC is pretty good, I honestly wouldn't say the Mojo sounds significantly better (the amp stage on the O2 is definitely better, the DAC in the Mojo is more advanced but that doesn't necessarily translate into performance gains).

I'd personally steer toward something like the Fiio X7 for portable use and keep the O2ODAC for home.
Or Fiio X7 for portable and something higher end for home :)

Your right.
I've got got the O2ODAC and to be honest it's probably my favourite of all the DACs and amps I've owned over the years.

I sort of forgot I still have the DX50 and after your post I looked around and found a good syncing app for it (Dapper).
I'm much more inclined to use the DX50 now I can easily keep the music up to date. I'm forever adding and deleting music.

Talked me out of spending money with you again. :)
