Omnia 2 hey

brb uploading

Here it is. I couldn't find it on xda and don't remember where the hell I got it from. Usual caution etc, you might need to set up your email accounts again as I lost mine around the time I installed this program. I also noticed a reduction in battery life. It's worth a whirl though and once you remember where the keys are, it's strangely addictive!

thanks, after a fair bit of trawling I eventually found a version ripped straight off the US Omnia 2 - works like a charm

this thing is fantastic, i've been using it occasionally today and although my typing speed on my old phone is probably still quicker - for now - i reckon within a few days i will become super quick with this

i'm actually calling people less due to avoiding replying to their messages lol!

it's a new way of inputting text into phones. to me it's the next best thing to a full sized desktop keyboard. nothing else i've used comes close to speed and usability. and no i have no plans of carrying around a portable bluetooth keyboard

Does it replace the onscreen qwerty kb outside Messaging? (e.g. When browsing the web)

at least on my phone, yes, it replaces the system keyboard.

just watch the video, it demonstrates how it works - i am nowhere near as proficient as the demo video but watching it now i've learned a trick or too as well.

i loved the T9 keypad input, I mean i've been using it for years since the Nokia 8310 not surprisingly then the guy who developed it also co-developed the swype technology too

The funny thing is the Newton actually was innovative and quite a decent device!
