Oh god, I've just queued up $120 of CDs, and I've only just started. This will end badly.

Actually Amazon UK is usually more expensive, so depending on how much postage is it might still be cheaper (or about the same) to get them from the US.

The only thing I can think of that I want right now are desktop speakers.

Hmmmm. Amazon US is somewhat cheaper, and the three wolf moon t-shirt appears to be even more magical. I didn't think that was even possible!

OMG they even have... :ninja: ....unicorns!

You should try give em:t records a try. They're notably more on the basic analog side of things (for the most part), but they seem to be a significant source of inspiration for a lot of things on the ultimae label. Although some of the tracks are really experimental.

There's also an artist very similar to solar fields called Distant System (there's actually a few, but most of them are much older/more retro sounding)

I can't recommend Distant System highly enough to a fan of Solar Fields. It's a little more IDM, but it's the same kind of vibe.

There's this too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laiRmjGOb6Y

Still on the fence about it, but I might actually prefer the above two to solar fields.

How is your T1 going?

Thanks for the links ihasmario, much appreciated :)

The T1 still sounds fantastic. I think i've found my ultimate headphone... at last
No plans to upgrade from these but I do enjoy listening to my other phones for a few days before switching back to the T1s.

Send me a pm if you'd like to 'borrow' some of my Solar Fields or H.U.V.A Network flacs ;)

If anyone's into Amanda Palmer/Dresden Dolls, all their stuff is up in FLAC on http://music.amandapalmer.net/. Most of it is pay what you want, some is has a $1 minimum.
