Maybe I just haven't played the game enough but how is MAVING considered cheap? Serious question here, not sure if its considered cheap or not.

Though I guess for every big map I play the team with a dedicated MAV guy (usually me) wins most of the time, dunno if it's because of the MAV though. Use the tools to your advantage.

BTW, by MAVing do you mean just dedicated surveillance or squishing people with it? I'm more of the surveillance guy.

Killing with a Micro Air Vehicle (or MAV :D) is cheap because they are designed (and used) only for surveillance and not for killing people.

By using it to kill, you're exploiting the game. Same as if you use it to get to high places.

Using it for its camera is absolutely fine, but I don't really see how that could work to your advantage very much.

Being able to spot people on radar and direct people to stop enemy movement (or at least hope some people take a hint) is pretty damn good. Especially to spot sneaking engineer assholes, incoming tanks and camping snipers on some faraway mountain or building bullshit. I reserve my MAV kills to kill those snipers who spawn onto tall building and plant spawn beacons generally.

If it's not designed to be used to kill then they wouldn't have given it a hitbox to roadkill people, but meh. I'm fine with it.

Yes it is good for surveillance but not in large games and in modes like conquest or death match, better on rush and smaller games. Using to get to higher areas is fine but a bit against its use (physics problem there) but being dedicated to kill with it is just outright cheap.
