How does the Matrix M Stage compare to the Talisman T33 and the Codra Classic (Prices aside)?

Aurally? Very hard to answer. You'd need time with all of them to assess them. You can't go wrong with either, but the diminishing returns increase with the price, you pay a lot more to get a lot less extra soundwise.

There are features differences - whether those are important or not, is up to you.

Thanks, will take a closer look at them tomorrow. Coming into the shop and having a listen's the hard bit as I'm over in Sydney! Will check out the features tomorrow.

The stuff I listen to is prog-house/trance & other assorted EDM. The STX > HD650 sounds great playing lossless tracks at the moment, I'm just keen to see if I can get more out of the 'phones by adding one of these amps.
