B2 still out of stock. Whats the next best IEM to go for? Must be worn straight.

Etymotic?

Hows the HF5 signature?

I like having good detail, very clear.

How are their size? The ER4P seem quite small (good), are the HF5 as small?

Very balanced/detailed sound sig, pretty much the same size as the ER-4P (but not identical).

Mmk. Sounds like a winner. I have some Comply T100 tips here too, so thats a bonus.

I was leaning toward the B2's, but im unsure how well they fit worn straight.

HF5 compare well to the B2's quality wise?

Think the HF5 is a winner.

Well, I prefer the B2, but that doesn't help much ;)

Haha it doesn't at all.

I am happy with the AD900's at home. I didn't mind the M2's. I love the detail in the SE425's but feel its a tad critical sometimes and touch light in the lower end (though i have a Cowon D2, which has very good equaliser and other effects to change to suit).

I *think* the HF5 will suit.

The hf5 aren't an especially bassy headphone, bottom end is detailed but not especially prominent. The M2 is bassier - haven't listened to the 425 recently to compare vs the hf5.

The 425 is pretty light on bass, similar to the AD900. Its there and its deep, just not prominant at all. Which is fine!

I didn't mind the M2, the bass was a nice change I guess but it lacked the level of detail I like.

Think i'll order a pair of HF5's. Is the Blue in stock? Not sure on Black or Blue.

I don't think the colour would matter since they'll be buried so deep into your brain

I bought a pair of AD400's years ago, not the pads are worn, as is the cord and pretty well everything about them...

I'm choosing between AD700's and M-1s, with my music tending towards acoustic, indie rock sort of stuff.

My reasons for the AD700s are because I know they'll be comfortable, but I prefer the look of the M-1s, as I wouldn't mind wearing them out and about when I need to... So if they are still comfortable for a guy with reasonable ears and an average head I'll just buy a pair of them.

Thanks, Ashley

Bit the headphone bullet and ordered the HF5. See how they go.

Time to sell the SE425's!

I'd go the MS-1 :)
The AD700 will feel pretty much the same as the AD400, practical for wearing out they aren't ;)

What colour HF5 do you have in stock Marcus/Felix?

I put "Black or Blue" in the comments, no preference really :)

Hopefully these guys are the perfect IEMs. Been searching for a while!

Not sure - I'm not in the shop today (home looking after sick little boy) so I can't check, but I'm pretty sure we have black ;)
