If I had to choose based upon sound alone absolutely. But I won't be swapping my D2+ any time soon, and if they were at the same price at time of purchase I'd probably still get the D2+. But that's me saying this after ~3 years with the Cowon. Storage/interface/battery life I love. I don't think I could accidentally leave the RoCoo playing in my car over-night and continue to listen for the next week
