Congrats, DC! All the best and I hope everything goes well. :)

Also, I've bought a 5kg Nutella jar as a novelty birthday gift for my bro!

a couple of WHAM burgers (w/cheese) from the Shangri-la plaza, in Manila.

FAAAHHHH, I love that place. They opened a few months after I moved out of Phils. Are the burgers still massive or are the budget cuts getting to them?

sorry for a delayed response,we just got back from Bohol.

er, they are certainly not massive, but hell, they could be one of the most tastiest burgers ive ever had .....

the 5-10 minute wait is certainly worth it..

oh, and their hashbrowns, are SENSATIONAL.

the HTC got my interest there for a while, but ill wait for the S3. some reports suggest a late May release, but more than likely, knowing Samsung... august/sept,

Vodafone now has Mobile phone plans that include 'free' 3G psvita's and memory cards o.O. Took them a while but that deal kicks arse if you wanted a psvita lol.

I just got the Archival DVD safe pens to go with my archival dvds  Dvds will probably outlast me.

So far so good. No weirdness since the upgrade. Though the damn thing only just fits inside my case!

If I wasn't spending all my money here, I probably would grab a 7970 pretty fast. Though I am thinking about buying a ps3 though technically thats a downgrade.

I considered a 7970 but I would have needed to upgrade my PSU for that too. Also compared to the particular 7950 I got the 7970 runs much hotter + louder for the small performance gain. Also the 7970's are a good $100+ more than this thing. Again not worth the performance gain in comparison. That said if a 680 was available around the price 7970's are atm then I'd have jumped on one of those for sure.

Yep it's the oc'd one. It's only a slight overclock but iirc the stock volts on this version is also lower as well as running a MUCH better cooler than the reference design ones. Also it was CHEAPER than the reference version. :unibrow:

I considered the nvidia cards but the 500-series ones suck down way too much power and there's only the 680 in the 600-series cards. The lower 600's aren't out yet otherwise I'd very likely have gone for a 670 or such. The 680's have terrible stock levels now and we're being gouged price wise because of it.

So, how are they? (I assume you've gotten them by now, right?)
I'm looking at getting some monitors, and they'll probably be the first thing that I'll buy to start recording, since they are useful by themselves, unlike microphones, interface, etc.
