Decent Earphones

Postby Aleksey » Wed Aug 22, 2007 3:33 pm

Hi Marcus. Im looking for earphones (budget is $40) that are durable, have a medium size/thin cable, have decent iscolation and that are worth what youre paying for. I bought MS-1's from here before, theyre awesome-sounding headphones, but the size/thickness of the cable and isolation isnt suitable in say public transport. Now i need earphones which will satisfy the needs that MS-1's cant :) Any recommendations ? Thanks in advance.

"Decent" in-ears for around $40 that offer isolation? um...

I can do decent in-ears that don't offer isolation for around $40 - the Yuin PK3
If you want isolation, you'd be looking at $80-$100 for entry level "decent" with models like the CX300, VS-R02 and Metro-Fi.

Still the Yuin Pk3 :)
Earbuds don't give you isolation though, just keep that in mind.

Thanks Marcus, i will consider purchasing them soon. As long as they're better sounding than K-Mart cheap earbuds, thats all i need.
