The Audio Technica A700X is a well balanced, if a little bright, sounding closed headphone that offer reasonable isolation from outside noise and decent comfort levels, although those with smaller heads may find them uncomfortable.
Bass response is tight, but lean, midrange is clear and treble is quite detailed and forward. Soundstage is decent for a closed model.
