The newest in the active noise cancelling range from Audio Technica, the ANC9 includes 3 levels of noise cancelling for airplane, office, and study environments. Noise cancelling and passive isolation are excellent making these very effective for travel use. Sound quality is excellent though this is diminished when the noise cancelling is turned off. Overall they are a comfortable, good sounding, bassy headphone.
